Review a shift offer in the app
A shift offer is a worker asking to take an open shift. Accepting the offer assigns the worker to that shift.
A shift offer is a worker asking to take an open shift. Accepting the offer assigns the worker to that shift.
Before deciding
You need approval access for the shift offer. Review the worker, timing and available positions before deciding.
Review one shift
- Open Action Required and tap the offer card.
- Check the worker, outlet, role, date and shift times.
- Review the live X assigned / Y required count. A notification sent earlier does not reserve a position indefinitely.
- Choose Approve or Reject, then complete the displayed confirmation.
- For approval, verify that the worker now appears on the shift. For rejection, check the recorded outcome in History.
Each requested shift is its own request. If the worker offered for two shifts, review both rather than assuming one decision covers the pair.
What approval does
Successful approval creates the actual worker assignment and its associated work records. The assigned shift appears in the worker’s schedule. Other pending offers by that worker for the same day that conflict with the accepted assignment can be cancelled by this workflow.
If the shift is full or the request has already been decided, review its current status and the roster. The saved assignment confirms who will work the shift.
