How payroll works in Inside
An overview of Inside payroll: pay groups, regular and off-cycle pay runs, approvals, submission and reports. Payroll is currently designed for Singapore.
Payroll has four areas: Pay Runs, Pay Groups, Reports and Settings.
How a pay cycle flows
- Pay groups define who is paid together and on which cycle.
- Regular pay runs are generated from each pay group's cycle.
- Processed timesheets, approved claims and allowances feed into the run.
- You review the run, add any line items and approve it at your level.
- You submit the run. Submission locks it and marks the items as paid in Inside.
Things to know
- Payroll is currently designed for Singapore. Other countries are planned.
- Submitting a pay run doesn't transfer money. Pay your employees through your bank as usual.
