Permission presets control what a person can see and do in Inside, such as viewing schedules, approving requests or running payroll. They are separate from work roles, which control which shifts someone can work.

Before you start

You need administrator access to Organisation Admin.

Review or change a preset

  1. Open Organisation Admin and go to Permissions.
  2. Select the preset you want to review.
  3. Turn on the areas and actions people with this preset need. Leave everything else off.
  4. Save your changes.
  5. Assign the preset to employees from their profile in Employee Hub.

Things to know

  • If a person has no enabled permissions, they can't access those parts of Inside.
  • Give people the least access they need. For example, outlet managers usually don't need payroll access.
  • Changes apply to everyone who has the preset, so check who uses it before editing.
