Set up Smart Fill rules

Choose how Smart Fill picks people for shifts, including eligibility, priorities, fairness, budget and minimum hours, preferred working hours, one shift per day and rest.

Steps

  1. Open the Smart Fill or Auto-fill settings for the outlet.
  2. Review the options, which may include:
    • Eligibility rules
    • Priorities for who is assigned first
    • Fairness in spreading shifts
    • Budget and minimum hours
    • Preferred working hours: Off, Soft or Hard
    • One shift per day
    • Rest between shifts
  3. Save.

Preferred working hours

  • Off: ignored.
  • Soft: Smart Fill tries to respect them but may assign outside them.
  • Hard: Smart Fill doesn't assign outside them.
